Robert Magana is the heart and soul behind Detail Depot in Naperville, Illinois, a business he's built from the ground up over years of dedicated work. His love for cars runs deep, not just the shine and finish, but the craft of truly caring for a vehicle and helping others learn to do the same. For Robert, detailing isn't just a service; it's an extension of who he is. He takes pride in treating every car that comes through his shop like it's his own, and that standard has earned Detail Depot a loyal following in the Naperville community.
Beyond the shop, Robert is a man grounded in faith and family. His relationship with God guides how he runs his business, how he treats his customers, and how he shows up every day. He's a devoted husband to his wife Naomi, and the two recently welcomed their daughter Lucia into the world — a moment that's added a whole new layer of purpose to everything he does. Whether he's perfecting a paint correction or mentoring someone on proper car care, Robert brings the same energy: genuine, generous, and driven by something bigger than himself.

I’m Robert Magana - Owner of Detail Depot
I was born and raised in the Powell, OH area and attended Olentangy Local Schools. I played baseball for Olentangy Liberty High School and was also actively apart of a group called Young Life. Since a young age I have had a passion for cars and a strong desire to be hands on in any form I could get into. My love for detailing began when I purchased my first car, and fell in love with every aspect of making a vehicle look new.
Upon graduation from Olentangy Liberty, I attended The Ohio State University to pursue a business degree in marketing. In college I was placed as a Young Life leader at Olentangy Berlin where I now continue to spend 20-25 hours of my week with high school kids, helping them grow in their faith, which is something that is very important and fulfilling to me.
Over the last several years, I have spent every summer providing detailing services to local communities. Upon graduation from The Ohio State University, I have been fortunate enough to take my passion full time to the next level with my wonderful Wife by my side.
I take an immense amount of pride in what I do and I consider myself incredibly fortunate and blessed to have turned my lifelong passion into a thriving business that serves my local community!
